On my way up to read the Strathmore rain-guage this morning I stopped at the Old Woman`s Pool and there were nine pairs of fish spawning on the redds and I am sure that this will be replicated many times throughout the system. I was astounded to find that the was only 61mm in the guage as I had anticipated over double that amount.
