The Fishery Manager did a great job in catching, conserving then utilising the rainfall that fell above Loch More at the end of last week. Although we have been promised more rainfall it has flattered to deceive. The waters released from Loch More has encouraged some smaller fish in to Beat one and anglers are enjoying a little sport once again. My heart goes out to all of the Ghillies who have had to manage these impossible conditions for three months. I used to have my fair share of these drought times and would just say-------- there is a lot to be said for old age and retirement!
