With the river on it`s bare bones our salmon anglers took to the trout lochs this week and met with various degrees of success. For those who fished "school hours" they found that their efforts were fruitless. However, those that chose to go out in the evening as the sun was going down had some excellent bags and great sport. I hear that the rain is teeming down south of Inverness which was forecast. A small note for the weather forecasters ( there IS land and rivers north of Inverness) and even some people live there !! We all get things wrong in life------- these people do it permanently!!!
