Like all Northern rivers, we are slowly seeing the height drop quite dramatically mainly due to the exceptionally dry month of April. Beat One continued to pick away in the course of the last week. Hugo Ross, who had the first fish off the main river AND the Association water, had hold of a fish on the private Beat and, just as it was getting ready for the net, dropped the fly! That would have been an incredible feat had he landed it!!
