The month of May proved to be very difficult for the angler with virtually no rain and bright windless days. The fact is that, the majority of visiting anglers have enjoyed many visits when conditions have been good, and they are quite accepting of the odd bad year. We are seeing grilse in the Estuary ( which is a little Early !!) and they look very fat, healthy little chaps.
