The poor fishing conditions continue. I remember well over fifty years ago (yes, we had very low water conditions then too) and my Grandfather would have to meet with quite disconsolate anglers of a morning, he would just say " Well, it is lovely weather for the Ladies". Back then, the greater number of visiting Wives were non-fishers and this seemed to take a little sting out of the tail for their husbands. There are fish beginning to build up in the Estuary and my sea-going friends tell me that they are seeing fish along the coast. I would just end by saying------- Enjoy it while it lasts Ladies because all anglers in the British Isles are on their knees praying for the heavens to open !!
