River and Loch levels have dropped away quite dramatically in the week and bright sunshine did not enhance the anglers chances of a fish. It is early days yet, and conditions can change overnight. There are a few fish running but, in the main, they are stopping off in the Estuary for the time being. Mr. Michael Leather had a nice fish on the Private Beat on the first day of his visit and, fishing companion, Mr. Doug Forbes lost a good fish on the last day of his visit
