As I write on July 1st, the latest forecast of heavy rain has somehow passed us by once again. Looking back through record books I can find nothing even remotely similar having taken place this early in the year. It must be extremely disappointing and difficult for Anglers and Ghillies alike. It is at times like these that one accepts this retirement game can be a bit of a luxury!
