The lack of rainfall is really beginning to take it`s toll with river and Loch falling away. Because Loch More has dropped away, the fish which spawned in the Rumsdale, Glutt and Sleach Waters are now back in to Loch More and getting back in to the main river via the main sluice gates. This has meant that many Anglers have been disappointed to hook what they thought was a fresh fish, only to land a Kelt. More positively, there are fish arriving in the Estuary daily and we can only hope that we have a rise in levels to bring them in in numbers.
