It has been a miserably cold week with winds from the south-east which changed dramatically yesterday( Friday) afternoon. It became like another planet. Salmon were showing and taking, and the trout were going mad. We had three nice fish off the Private Beat in a matter of hours and, more importantly, we saw a lot of smolts on their seaward journey.
