Although there are quite a few grilse beginning to appear ( a bit early) they too, have been unhelpful. These fish are racing through Beat One and you have to wonder if they are anticipating a drought! I have seen some strange and difficult conditions throughout the past sixty years, but can never remember anything as prolonged as those we are experiencing at present.
