The early part of the week saw temperatures drop to minus 8C. Overnight on Wednesday saw very high winds pay a visit along with torrential rain which effectively took the river to over five feet on the gauge. There are those who voice concern about the redds given the high water conditions. From past experience I would suggest that there is no need to be at all worried.
