The Private Beat fished well in the week with eight fish taken. All were safely returned. Beat One was a little more patchy with the fish again, tending to run through. The river is now very low and with the ever increasing water temperatures the sanctuary of the canal beats and the deep pools like the Sauce will be crucial.
