The Private Beat was a little behind on last May`s total whilst Beat One did really well in the latter part of the month. There have been big fish from both Beats with a 23 pounder on the Private and a 20 pounder on beat One. This biting, cold wind prevails regardless of direction, which has not helped, with many days showing the water temperature much warmer than the air!
