Weekly Report 23/04/2023
It has been another slow week fishing wise. We have had blazing sunshine yet, in the shade, it has been bitterly cold. We had several instances on the Private beat with the salmon following with it`s mouth open. but just not taking.
Started painting the Hill Loch boats in readiness for a new season.
I digress for a moment:: Across the river from my house on an area no greater than one hundred square yards, I have a pair of Oyster Catchers nesting, a pair of Mallard
and a pair of Hoodie crows have set up home. They have seemed to ignore their differences in plumage and their overall "disagreements" that would normally exist and do not trouble one another at all. What an example to humankind!!
