The drought, accompanied with strong to gale force winds, has continued throughout the week making fishing conditions extremely difficult. Beat One has at last come in to it`s own with the fish slowing down and quite a few have been very obliging. It is very heartening to see so many fish being returned to the water------ and many of these by anglers who did not agree with the policy initially!! The Hill Loch have also suffered greatly due to the strong winds.
