It has been a strange week with a lot of activity for a little while and a lot of inactivity for a long while! However, both Beat One and the Private are now producing. Highlight for me again has been the number of smolts going through Beat One. My friend Pat Quinn had to stop fishing several times as great pods of these chubby little chappies headed seaward. On the opposite end of the scale, the Dalnawillan Keeper took a photo off a silver salmon which was probably taken by the otter------- and this was 15 miles above Loch More in the tributary of a tributary!!
