Last week I ventured the opinion that, as there was only one fishing day left in the month, it was unlikely that we would have a February fish. As my Grandfather used to say "It is not often that I am right--- but I am wrong again! This was correct regarding the Private Beat and Beat one but there WAS a fish of the main river on the Monday which was followed by another from beat Nine on the Tuesday.
