With the river having dropped back considerably in the past 48 hours it has been very heartening to see good numbers of fish still working the redds and there is also evidence of more to come, with a lot of fish still lying back in the deeper pools. Although, due to the drought, it has been a fairly poor season generally, there can be no doubt that the Thurso has much to offer for the future.
