Rain at last! Loch More has risen over six feet and there was a good spate come down the Little River putting 26 ins on the Halkirk gauge. Every thing has settled back now and Beat One continues to produce well and the Private Beat has also given up a number of it`s inhabitants. Sometimes you hope that a particular Party is successful. This has been the way with me this week with the team who have taken Dalnaha Cottage along with the Private Beat, having success. They also booked the last two days of our season and I wish them even more good sport.
