Despite levels fluctuating between 15 and 50 inches during the course of the week, when settled, the river gave up her bounty graciously.

One angler on the Sauce Pool had 5 fish in just over one hour, minutes before the river again rose dramatically.

Although the greatest majority of these fish were very coloured there has been the odd sighting of silver ones.
