With very little to cheer us up on the fishing front it was heartening to hear from Dokers MacKay, who was working on a boat at the salmon Bothy in the Estuary, that he had seen a pod of silver fish jumping about just by the bothy. Obviously, being silver, these fish must have been brand new arrivals. Another little glimmer of light! A Gentleman who was here to do the "MacNab" managed to tease a fish out of the Sauce Pool before following up with a grouse and then his stag. Well done him-------- but huge praise must go to his Mentor, Chris.
