Loch More has fallen away quite dramatically in the course of the week with Moors Point now very prominent. This is hardly surprising given that there was only 28mm in the Strathmore rain gauge for the entire month of June! There are little periods when fish come on the take , but they are few and far between. We had anglers trout fishing on Loch More in the week and, they too, came up almost blank which is very unusual for Loch More. It is comforting to know that there is a good head of fish in the safety of Loch More and I have been seeing quite good numbers of fish in the Estuary. All we need is rain!!
