Our fish continue to be very unhelpful, proving very difficult to catch.  There have been periods when they have taken very freely and other times when you would believe that there were no fish present.

Last week we touched on the presence of a couple of Pacific Pink Salmon.  The update is that there have been no more of these creatures seen or caught.  My own ‘unscientific’ opinion as to why they appeared is that most probably these fish, which had lost their own rivers, tagged on to salmon coming on to the North Coast.  Since they were first noticed we have had two substantial rises in river level and had there been more hanging about, this would have brought them into the system.
