Although conditions in general have been good, the fishing has been very sticky. Both Beat One and the Private Beat have produced, but has given up it`s treasures very unwillingly. Anglers have remarked that it would seem that there are no fish in the river but the second that one took a fly there were fish everywhere and then, just nothing, completely dead. A bit like having a fall out with the wife !!
