Weekly Report 31/05/2020
I was going to write a few words on Fishery science and Fishery scientists but decided to speak about something that was important!
Fishing came back to life on Friday 29th and, sadly for the Anglers, the sun came out with a vengeance. However, it is just so great for it to be possible to be on the riverbank once again.
Pat Quinn, who has fished the river for over thirty five years, took the first of the Sauce pool which was a beautiful twelve pounder.
Some nine years ago pat Decided to retire to the area( he had threatened for many years) and bought a house in Halkirk. Pat has almost become a naturalised Scot and is now known locally as Patch MacQuinn !!
