It has been rather a strange week with fish taking very vigorously for a period of time and then going absolutely dead. Pat Quinn, fishing on Beat One, had three fish in quick succession and then struggled to get any interest. This was pretty much replicated on the Private Beat. The people staying in Dalnaha Cottage had a fair amount of success on the upper river in the past couple of weeks. One Gentleman had a MacNab with the grouse aspect taken flying his peregrine falcon.
