With very thundery overhead conditions around for much of the week, the fish were quite reluctant to take a fly. We have had the beginnings of a grilse run but are also seeing good numbers of rather big fish. In the main, fish still tend to be racing through Beat One and there have been sea-liced fish taken on the private Beat.
