We have had another couple of small rises in river levels in the week and this seems to have caused fish to run straight through Beat One with only a few being caught. However, The Private Beat has been producing almost daily. The Willie Darragh Party took Dalnaha Cottage for the week which gives them access to numerous Hill Lochs, the Glutt Water as it enters Loch More, and they also had days on the Private beat. They are the kind of Party that you are desperate to see having a good time------and this they did !! They had great fun on the Lochs, they had a salmon ( along with a lot of trout) on the Glutt Water and most of the party had a salmon on the Private Beat the best of which was an eighteen pounder taken by Geoff McGlaughlan on a ten foot single handed rod and was his biggest salmon to date.
