Although there was substantial rainfall in mid-week, it mainly fell in the lower catchment area of the river. Sadly Loch More was barely affected. However, both Beat 1 and the Private Beat continued to produce, although not quite as prolifically as previously but still providing satisfying sport. In the latter part of the week there was quite a large number of grilse seen in the estuary and venturing upstream into the system.
