The weather continues to be against us with very bright, suffocating days. The secret has been to get out for a couple of hours before breakfast. Beat One has given up a few fish but there have been quite a number of fish being lost. A lot of these appear to be grilse.
The angler on the Private Beat averaged a fish per day and this included our first grilse. Again, the secret was to get out before the sun became too strong. I have promised that I wouldn`t identify the name of the angler on the Private Water------ I think that it is sufficient to say at this time-----well done Mr. Elias ! |
