After the last couple of weeks, things have slowed down a little,but with 127 fish for the week, still a good week. There are a lot of fish in the river, but they did prove very frustrating, fishing the faster water seem to be the best tactic. We weren't helped with some very bright sunshine on one day and a rising river the next. Once the river settled down we saw the fishing pick up again. What was interesting was that it was the middle beats that did well, with beats 5 and 6 producing good number fish later in the week. Grilse have been the majority of the fish caught. Prospect look good for next week, we have a full loch and a river full of fish, we should see the grilse run in full swing and some good catches should be made"...................... |
