We finished with 35 fish for the week, which given the conditions, was a good result. The first two days were very bright, Monday was blank and Tuesday only gave us 2 fish, but as the week progressed the cloud and the wind came back and the catches went up. The river has been dropping all week and we are now at 5 inches, but we were still seeing sea-liced fish being caught and some of these are a good size. It has to be said that some rain would be welcome and there is some in the forecast for next week, but we will see how much. |
