The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	So another weeks comes to an end and oooh! what a week! The river has finished with over 70 in the book. It is great to see large numbers of fresh fish entering the river every day and to say it is encouraging is an understatement! It has been outstanding The weather remained settled for the most part and the dreaded east wind only hung around for a couple of days, heavy periods of overnight rain later in the week has pushed the river up a few more inches. The highlight of the week has to be Mr Alex Parramore catching his first fish from his namesake pool on beat 11. (Parramore pool)
