A week of two halves. We finished the week with 27 fish, only 3 were caught in the first 3 days! Wall to wall sunshine and water temperatures up to 18C put paid to sport in the early part of the week, but as the mercury dropped and the cloud came the fish started to respond and we finished the week strongly. There have been a good number of bigger fish, 15 to 17Lbs , running the river this week. On Saturday Jonathan and Veryan Morsehead showed what Bt 7 can produce, with fish of 9,12,16 & 17lbs. |
