The story of the week has been high water. With the gauge showing 30 inches or more for a good part of the week it has been difficult fishing.The is no doubt that there will be fish in the system, but with water coming down the fish pass, those fish will have been able to access Loch More. The forecast is for the weather to get colder and less rain and with the river dropping nicely as I write, let's hope for the first fish next week. |
