We took our 2000th salmon of the season yesterday, which indicates another great season on the Thurso. Having said that the fishing in September has been hard and I think today will be no exception. The temperature of the river is dropping with the cold nights and it the last couple of days we have seen the salmon keener to come to the fly. But we have a bright start today with the cloud and wind coming in the afternoon.
