We finished the season on a high note with the last three days producing an excellent 84 fish, which included salmon of 28,27 and 25lbs. Although we had no fresh water, our first frosts of the year cooled the water down and the fish became more active. Fish were taken all over the river and some very good catches were made in the slower waters on beats 6 and 7.
The season as a whole has been excellent with 2203 fish being caught, which is well above our 5 and 10 year averages, I will be doing a full review will
later in the year. So until then I wish you all well and look forward to meeting many of you again next year.
