The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	With Beat One still to produce a fish, the Private Beat keeps the wheels turning with another couple off in the week. What amazes and delights me is the quality of these fish. They remind me of the Springers that we used to catch when I was a young Ghillie in the 1850s !! I wonder if the lack of interceptor nets in the sea is allowing these wonderful fish safe passage back to the rivers of their birth ?
